Acrylic Clock Class

These Acrylic Clocks are great fun, and everyone went away with their own personalized clock.

We did have a few incidents;

The death of a Tag-a-Long !!!!!!!! after major surgery that was.

We decided to call it a day, managed to save the alphabet and I got a few interesting cogs and wheels for other projects !!!!!

The clock class involved alcohol inking the actual clock base and the numerals for the clock, the kits are great in that they include the base, the numerals and the clock workings as well as a battery and idiot proof instructions to put it together.

At the start of the class I did tell everyone that on one side of the clock there was a covering film and on the back of some of the numbers, everyone started to ink, and Kelly bless her produced a gorgeous background of black and silver for her clock, unfortunately on closer inspection she had inked the film and not the clock. Sorry hun, I still feel guilty for peeling this off, but it would of peeled off eventually honest and it looks so much better the second time.

Everyone did a fantastic job of their clocks and hopefully they will now be on display in various parts of the house.

Class Thursday 24th April

Sorry for the delay in posting this, very busy but enjoyable weekend with two crops.

Ok Thursdays class is a chipboard circle book. Now maybe some of you are more organized than me, well probably most of you, but I still havn't done anything with Christmas's photos (I still have the last four Christmas's to do something about if I am honest!!!)

So I though a lovely Christmas themed book, it will have lots of pull outs and hidden journalling or photos. I will be showing you how best to stick the paper to shapes and make sure it is the right size. You will need between 15 and 20 photos 2"x2" will work well, you can have some that are bigger if you like but the circle has a diameter of 5".
The papers we are going to be using are the Rusty Pickle Christmas Collection, with gorgeous Kaisercraft rub ons, there will of course the bling involved !!!!!!!

The Class is £9.00 and to crop as usual is £4.00.
You will need to bring
Basic Tool kit to include:
Scissors
Cutting mat
cutting knife
(don't panic there is nothing like the cutting involved for last week's !!!!)

Class photos

This was the LO that everyone had to do. I didn't figure on how long it would take everyone to do the cutting out LOL but it was a very quiet class!!!!!!!!

Everyone ready to begin !!!!!!

You can see the concentration in everyone's faces !!!!!

Very quick pause for a mouthfull of Coffee !!!!!!!!!!!! Most of the drinks went cold as everyone was so busy cutting out tiny pieces of paper.

We had an unexpected 8 legged guest and Kellie and Jen lept across the room screaming, Karen very bravely escorted the gate crasher out of the front door, I was all ready to show it the underside of my shoe, but it was more 'humane' that way !!!!!!!!! My way would of ensured it didn't come back .......

The finished results, although only a few managed to finish, I will upload as and when everyone finishes LOL
